How to Edit Your Header and Footer

After tailoring your theme to perfectly match your brand's aesthetic, it's crucial to give some attention to the website's global elements - the header and footer.

Accessing Your Header and Footer:

Initiate with a Theme Page: To tweak your header and footer, start by having at least one page utilizing your theme. This can be done through the theme settings or by heading to Marketing > Website > Website Pages on your dashboard.
Create a New Page: Hit the Create button at the top right corner, choose your Website domain, give your page a name, and click Create page. Then, pick the template you'd like for this page.
Navigate to the Global Content Editor:
For the header, either click directly on it within the page editor or use the Contents tab on the left to select the Website Header module. Then, press Open in global content editor to modify your header.
For footer adjustments, scroll to the bottom of your page editor, click on the footer, or find the Website Footer module via the Contents tab and head into the global content editor.
Editing the Header:

In the global content editor, you have the flexibility to drag and drop modules around the site navigation menu.
To modify specific elements within the menu, select the desired module from the Contents tab. You can override the default logo settings here, adjusting aspects like the logo's alt text, dimensions, and link URL.
Tailoring the Footer:

Unlike the header, the footer allows for full drag-and-drop customization. Feel free to add, remove, or rearrange modules to craft the footer layout that best suits your site.
Standard footer layouts often feature social links, simple menus, and copyright information. Customize these elements to align with your brand identity.
Finalizing Your Changes:

After making your edits, click Publish to apply the changes across your site. This action will bring you back to your page editor, where you can review your adjustments live.

By following these steps, you'll ensure your site's header and footer not only serve their functional purposes but also contribute to the cohesive look and feel of your website, enhancing the overall brand experience for your visitors.
